Merlin's Face.

What a wonderful day to be alive! It is a truly glorious day here at Misty Cottage today, the sun is shining and warm, the bees are busy and the air is fragrant and soft. After doing enough decorating this morning, I packed a lunch and went to Tintagel to take pictures of Merlin's face.

It is as if his profile is trapped in the cliff face on the side of Tintagel island, site of Uther Pendragon's castle.

I sat on a bench to eat my lunch looking out to sea with the gentle warm breeze coming to me across the gorse which has a fragrance like sweet coconut, listening to the audio book of Mists of Avalon. It really does not get any better than this!
