Special Visitor

The Misty Cottage garden had a beautiful visitor the other day. Luckily he stayed around long enough for me to reach for the camera.


It is a sparrowhawk who occasionally helps itself to a smaller bird from the bird feeder, no joy for him this time though.

    This is such a beautiful bird. It's amazing that you were able to capture such a great picture. I wish we have beautiful birds here....we have black crows and they make a lot of noise. Wishing you a Happy Easter.

    Thank you Lilly's Mom. We are very lucky here to be surrounded by wildlife and not much else. Happy Easter to you too, I hope you have some spring sunshine where you are.
